    Kimchi Fried Rice - Opening Day Breakfast Candidate

    Easy. Umami. Protein. Filling. Sets base for a long day of baseball consumption.


    - day old dry rice

    - 3 eggs

    - garlic clove (minced)

    - butter

    - sesame oil

    - soy sauce

    - gochugaru

    - green onion

    - kimchi


    Step 1: heat butter in pan, crack eggs directly into hot pan and stir, loosely scrambling egg.


    Step 2: before egg is cooked through, add cold rice and sesame oil to one side of pan, touching pan. Heat rice and crisp, then integrate eggs with rice.


    Step 3: add garlic, sliced green onion (1 inch pieces), gochugaru, soy sauce and saute until veggies warmed.


    Step 4: serve in bowl topped with kimchi and diced green onion,


    Step 5 (optional): serve with soju and Hite beer.
