Introduction to Baseball Thoughts...

As a Mariners fan, I have been through many ups and downs. Well, primarily downs. And I have played some form of fantasy baseball since 1990. I currently play in Roto and H2H leagues. This blog is meant for those who are baseball fans, numbers geeks, or simply ride the emotional roller coaster of being a diehard seam head and hardcore supporter of your team.

I grew up in Seattle and spent a number of years in the Midwest, mostly in Chicago. Fan bases in Seattle and Chicago could not be more opposite. I plan to explore fandom, their intensity, and why baseball teams and their identities are so important to our cultural fabric and social identification. But mostly, I want to ask questions about numbers, fantasy baseball decisions, and with greater participation, create a forum to share baseball stories, fantasy baseball and otherwise.
