    Andrew Painter:

    • Won't be pitching at full strength until mid-2025.

    • Case could be made he is still the #1 SP prospect instead of #11.

    • Command and approach are the differentiators.

    • Smart, cerebral, stuff is plus but not double plus.

    • Spector of stuff not coming back after TJS and wait is why he's #11 and not #1.

    Rhett Lowder:

    • Smart, command, but…

    • Changeup first right handed pitcher and pitching in Cincinnati

    • Groundball heavy with 2FB action, velo won't be elite, nor will SL but enough to be effective.

    • Won't lead league in Ks either.

    • Safe prospect, highest floor of this group, with maybe the lowest ceiling.

    • Could break camp with the Reds

    Daniel Espino:

    • My #1 SP prospect heading into the 2023 off-season.

    • Legit 80 grade 4FB

    • Potential double plus SL

    • Decent command.  Four pitches.

    • Cannot stay healthy.  Knee tendinitis and shoulder soreness (vague) in 2022

    • Shoulder soreness which led to muscle strain and capsule tear and surgery in May 2023

    • Not expected back until mid 2024.

    • Still may have highest ceiling of any SP in minor leagues.

    Chase Hampton

    • Five pitches, decent command, elite 4FB shape

    • Sign me up

    • In NYY, maybe not.

    • Prototypical NYY pitching dev.  4FB shape coupled with big sweeping SL.

    • Command isn't quite as good with secondary pitches.

    • Big velo jump in 2023 getting to 94-96 (t97) which can lead to arm injury.

    Jared Jones

    • Big 95-97 (t100) 4FB

    • 4FB command is good not great

    • Loses velo in later innings.

    • Command of secondaries is not nearly as fine.  SL/CH/CB

    • Will likely not go deep into games.  Smallish and velo drops.

    • 150 IP starter?

    • May open season in Pirates rotation

    Jeter Martinez

    • Long way off (2027)

    • 18 years old.  But 6'4", mid 90s 4FB, and was untouchable in DSL

    • 4FB which is more like a 2FB.

    • Big SL which was unhittable in 2023.

    • Developing CH in low 80s.

    • Frame to add muscle.  Velo bump is expected which takes him to triple digits.

    • All projection here.

    Henry Lelane

    • Left handed Eury is the NYY hype machine comp lol

    • 6'7", low 3/4 arm slot, mid to high 90s velo.

    • Big extension.

    • 4FB/SL/CH mix currently.

    • Only 19 years old

    • Command is better than expected from a tall teenager.

    • But nothing elite…yet

    Noble Meyer

    • Great white hope

    • From Oregon

    • Top prep arm in 2023 draft.

    • 4FB/SL/CH mix

    • 4FB touches 100, shape is decent not great

    • SL has short tilt, low 80s offering

    • CH mid 80s and between avg and show me

    • MIA can develop pitching and Meyer has a lot to work with

    • Not an ace, but definite #2/3 potential.

    • Boring if you can say that about a 19 pitching prospect who hits 100

    Robby Snelling

    • Athletic, two sport lefty.

    • Drafted out of AZ in 2022

    • 6'3", 210 lbs

    • 4FB/SL mix

    • 4FB mid 90s with decent shape

    • SL is 1 to 7 spinning SL in low 80s.  Sweeper-ish.

    • CH needs development.  Will need it against RHB bc 4FB isn't good enough to get good RHB out.

    • Mid to back of rotation SP.  Athleticism and one sport focus lead you to believe that he can be a good one for years and that there MAY be a little more dev left.

    Mick Abel

    • How long have we been talking about Mick Abel

    • How long have we been talking about his inability to land anything in the zone with consistancy

    • Had opportunity to be in 2024 rotation if he took a jump in 2023.  He didn't.

    • Four pitches, they look impressive.  T100 on 4FB, SL, CB, CH

    • RP risk bc command is that bad.  45 grade

    • 4FB/SL combo is nasty.

    • Not sure where he falls yet.
